Embracing Shadows: A Dance of Light and Dark
Sunday March 16th, 2025
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Mount Pleasant SC 29466
details about our private location will be emailed to participants
As the equinox balances day and night, join us for a transformative daylong retreat designed to honor the shadow and light within each of us. This experience invites women to explore the depths of their being through embodied somatic movement, expressive dance, and mindfulness meditation. Together, we will create a sacred container to play with, embrace, and bring pleasure to the shadow aspects of ourselves—those hidden, often unacknowledged parts that hold profound wisdom and creativity.
What to Expect:
Embodied Somatic Movement: Guided practices to connect with your body’s innate intelligence, releasing tension and opening to the sensations of the present moment.
Expressive Dance: A joyful, liberating exploration of movement to embody your darkness and light, allowing your body to tell its story without words.
Mindfulness Meditation: Gentle, grounding practices to cultivate awareness and compassion, helping you meet your shadow sides with curiosity and openness.
Sisterhood Circle: Share and witness in intimate breakout discussions with a supportive community of women, fostering connection and collective healing.
Embracing Shadows is an invitation to celebrate the full spectrum of who you are—light and dark, seen and unseen. Through movement, meditation, and play, you’ll leave feeling more integrated, empowered, and deeply connected to your authentic self.
No prior experience in dance or meditation is required—just an open heart and a willingness to explore. Come as you are, and leave with a deeper sense of wholeness and joy. Register today to claim your spot in this sacred journey!
